As the charity of choice for the Salt Lake Home Builder's Association, HomeAid Utah works to help individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness build new lives through community engagement, education, and construction.
HomeAid Utah and Steel Biltt collaborated to construct this home, destined for the first tiny home sub-village within The Other Side Village. The Other Side Village is a master-planned neighborhood that offers affordable, high-quality, permanent housing for individuals transitioning out of chronic homelessness.
Beyond its beautiful and functional design, this home serves as a profound symbol of hope and progress in our community's tireless endeavor to eradicate homelessness. Following the conclusion of the parade, the home will be handed over to The Other Side Village, where it will provide a safe and nurturing haven for an individual currently experiencing homelessness in Utah.
